Harare – Bulawayo

This leg of our trip served two purposes. One was to see my Grandparents (obviously, this was prior to them moving to Harare to live with my parents) and some of my other family members. The stop over in Bulawayo was also convenient halfway point on the way to Vic Falls. Unbelievably, there is no good road between Harare and Vic Falls. Never has been.

We did see some nice birds along the way, Magpie Shrikes which I’d never heard of before but were like flies!

We had a lovely evening with my family. J met my Grandparents for the first time, and my Aunt, Uncle and 2 of my cousins. We left early the next morning and headed north west towards Vic Falls.
