I bought these little stars from Mr Price Home before Christmas as decorations. I think they were R20 each or something. They are styrofoam star shapes covered in hundreds of tiny mirrors. Like star-shaped disco balls.

Anyway, I forgot to take them down after Christmas (as you do) and late one afternoon I saw how wonderfully they reflected the afternoon sunlight. So I did the only reasonable thing. I hung one is each of our windows that gets a lot of sunshine.
Because they are so nice and light, the slightest breeze turns them and the subsequent reflections race across my bedroom walls. This makes me ridiculously happy.
