So there’s a bit of a story here. One random Tuesday, I posted this post and then went about my business. Unbeknown to be, that post was selected for WordPress’s ‘Freshly Pressed’ homepage. There was some minor excitement about that! One of the things everyone commented on was how beautiful the beaded flowers were. Jessica was so taken with them, she asked me to get their details. In the end, I ended up buying some for her and posting them to her. Amazing what this little blog world can achieve!
The crafters are brothers; Wellington and Confidence Tsiga, originally from Zimbabwe.
They currently live in Hlamba near Wellington in the Western Cape. (If you really want to write to them, leave me a comment and I’ll send you their full address). They are happy for people to call them and place orders. They make a wide range of indigenous flowers, and will probably take orders for anything that they don’t currently make. You can contact them on the following cellphone numbers:
Wellington +27 (0) 83 491 5479 and Confidence +27 (0)78 221 1317
Disclaimer: I am not making anything off this. I just want to showcase their talent and hopefully give them a break!
And here’s just some what these two amazing men can do. Enjoy…

Will they take international orders? I want some!!!
I have no idea!! I’ll see if I can chat to them
Did you ever manage to find out whether they take international orders? Would love some of these over here in the US!
Hi Shana
Unfortunately I don’t think they are setup for international orders. I’ll ask them the next time I see them in town :)
I think these are beautiful! I make beaded flowers as well, so I know how much work goes into them, it’s an awful lot!
Gee, love the flowers. I grew up in KZN but living in Australia. Just had an idea earlier about trying to get some beaded flws made in SA to use in headbands, I currently just use fabric, ribbon etc. and amazingly came acrossyour blog. If you speak to them again could you find out if they’d take custom orders? My in laws are coming over in Dec and could bring them over. So glad I found your blog!!!!
Wow, great.
These are really beautiful. I have not seen anything like these. My wife is beading and I have presented plenty of her “works”, but these are aweful.
Thank You presenting them.
Oh I am in love with the agapanthus and the strelitzias!! I might have to seek these two out next time I am in cape Town. I already have a beaded aloe that I broght back from a previous trip that I totally adore… I love that you gave these guys some web exposure!
Thanks, that would be great! If they mail within SA that could work too.
Wow, their work is excellent, and beautiful! I love these flowers!
I have a bead group of women in zim ( FOR 15 YEARS) and also do product development here with various groups and woul dlove these guys to bring some fresh inspiration back with them when they next come home! VEry happy to arrange a workshop for them if need be, the interest amd the artisans are here!
How can i show you what we do…?

Ragnar
Hi Ragnar, unfortunately I’m not in contact with them anymore and I won’t be at the Festival this year to see if they are around!
